There was a point in time where I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing platform shoes. I don’t really know why, but for a solid couple years there single sole shoes were it, and platforms just seemed, well, tacky. Not anymore though. With the resurgence of seventies style, platforms are back, and I’m not hating it. At 5’3″ you’ll never hear me complain about a little height, especially when it comes with the comfort of the platform. I just bought the striped Loeffler Randall version in the last row. They are currently 30% off at Saks, and are the most beautiful striped linen. They are perfect for summer and I can’t wait to wear them with sundresses. I am also lusting after the Steve Maddens in the top row, but in the nude color. They are the perfect neutral shoe that will make your legs look a mile long. How do you guys feel about platforms coming back?
